been lookin into getting on just wonder whats everyones thought on each and which one is best in the long run
 
Kalk is fine if you have a light demand for alk. But if your looking at getting into Stoney corals calcium reactor is the way to go.
 
^what he said. Kalk is fine for softies and light lps, but is only good enough for supplement on sps system.
 
Unless it's a large tank (180+) I would recommend against a calcium reactor. I have a kalk stirrer and use 2 part along side with it. I like the added benefit of raised ph due to dosing kalk.
