Is it best to run the kalk reactor 27/7? how many rpms does the stir bar do? would it hurt to put it on a timer?

Yes, the kalk stirrer is designed to run 24/7, it does 10rpm. It wouldn't hurt it to put on a timer, if you dose only overnight to keep the ph more balanced, then you could set it to come on an hour before the dosing cycle starts.
