Just 3 for starters.

Is there a way to lower the ph of kalkwater. I have heard it has a high ph. I only let my top off pump run when the lights are off because I am afraid it will raise the ph to much.

My top off is in a 5 gallon bucket. Do I need to put a little pump in there to mix it up or just let the aqualifter just pull the water out and not the sedament on the bottom? If I need a pump so I let it run all day or just like for a couple mins a day?

Should I leave the sedament in the bottom of the bucket when I refill it or should I rinse it out every time?

better to spread it out over 24 hrs in smaller doses than to dose larger amounts less frequently. if your pH is too high then top off with plain ro water during the day and add kalk at night. you could also make the kalk more dilute or less potent. i run my kalk reactor inline with my ATO 24/7

I think when RO water is fully saturated with kalk it has a PH of 12. It can not be lowered at 100% saturation unless its diluted.

If your only going to drip Kalk at night, then you should only have to mix it once a day for a few minutes. Let the slurry settle, then top off with the cleared water. If there is extra Kalk at the bottom of the bucket after your done mixing then you have reached 100% saturation?! Make sence? The extra sediment, or undissolved Kalk can be mixed again with fresh RO. Also worth mentioning that if your Kalk mixed water isnt in a sealed air tight container, it will form some sort of scum at the top of the water. Using an airtight Kalk stirrer can be used to avoid it
