Im sure this has been asked before but I couldn’t find it....
I like kalk dosing. When I do it, everything looks and grows beautifully. I put it in my top off water but doing so makes it hard to regulate and can ruin a pump. So I discontinued kalk in the ATO and started doing 2 part every few days. I hate it cause I never seem to be very consistent and have my levels (especially pH) jumping all over.
Now I have a Jabao doser. I’ve had it for weeks and never set it up because I’m not sure how to set it up and know how much to dose, how often, blah blah blah. I think my confusion comes from the fact that I have 3 components (Part 1, part 2, mag) to worry about and balance. Then, hubby suggested I put kalk in the dosing pump. Is that doable or recommended? I would put kalk in one container, mag in one container and maybe kalk for a different tank in the third container.
Thoughts?
