Kalkreactor with calcium reactor question

I read where someone was running their effluent from the calcium reactor thru a kalkreactor to help raise ph
Now would this not possibly raise alk and calcium to high
Would like to hear everyones opinion

Lime only works with freshwater. Putting saltwater into kalk just makes calcium carbonate sediment.
