Hi,

Would it be safe to dose 1600ml/24h into 165 litres @ 133.3ml every 2 hours without spiking the ph? My doser only allows for 12 x additions so this is the best way to spread it over 24 hours.

I would defer to @Randy Holmes-Farley for this info.

However, I believe the impact would be less than 0.04 NBS per dose.

That will be fine. I have my kalk dosing split into 10 additions in similar ratios. You might consider dosing more at night and less during the day instead of exactly every 2 hours.

Adding 1.25% of the tank volume instantly boosts alk by about 0.5 dKH and pH by about 0.6 to 0.7 pH units.

If you add 1/10th of that or less at once, I expect it is OK.
