Kalkwasser and 2 part

Hello are there any negative interactions or issues by dosing 2-part as well as kalwasser in the same tank? Not at the same time, I thought to use limewater during the night to keep ph higher and 2 part daytime. Also will limewater slowly raise salinity as calcium chloride does? Thanks

You can use both. I do. Limewater will not raise salinity. Big limewater fan here.

Good! Are the amounts of 2 part vs limewater similar to raise Ca/Alk ? For example my daily 2 part dosage is 168 ml of both parts in 2 part. So would using 30ml less of each be equivalent to dosing 30ml of limewater in its place ?

No, Limewater (kalkwasser) is far, far less potent than any two part.

Do you have general about of kalk you would use if the sole purpose was to support pH...

i use 2part 28ml per day. I have a reefer 525 so roughly 110gal

No. Some people use only limewater and still have low pH. It all depends on how elevated the CO2 level in your home air is, and how well aerated. You just have to try it and see.
