Kalkwasser and Calcium reactor

Hi,

I have just switched from 4 part dosing to CaRx and as expected my PH has dropped considerably. I want to use Kalk to help boost pH am thinking about using my (now) spare dosing pump (GHL Doser 2.1) for this purpose, as it allows down to 0.1ml of precision. However, I am concerned whether the Talk will clog/ruin the dosing pump head.

You help would be greatly appreciated.

It won’t ruin the dosing pump head but it will make you go through tubing much much faster. It’s so basic it degrades the tubing faster than your normal dosing fluids. I’d expect to change it out every couple months potentially
