I have searched the forum and not found any info on this. is it safe to rinse my kalk container down the drain? into my septic system? some people say its fine others say its not.

The smallest septic tanks are 1000 gallons. I dont think youll be washing enough kalk down there to effect a thing.

i wouldnt think so but my septic cleaner guy informed me about how much it would cost to replace and im not interested in that lol

FWIW, the tank is either concrete, fiberglass or plastic. You wont hurt it. Its the bacteria colony that breaks down the waste people get concerned about. Those bacteria do not work fast enough to keep up with a family of four. That is why it is reccomended to have your tank pumped every 5 or so years.

Pour it in the rocks around your house if you want. It is easy to water down too.

Toss it in the road driveway whatever. It’s not like it’s gasoline or something you know

It is far less caustic than lye used in drain openers.
