kalkwasser in ATO

so the instructions are to mix the kalkwasser into the ATO and let it sit for 30 min. if I do this and then put the ato pump back into the resevoir the ato now has air in the lines which means i need to lay it flat on the bottom. That means the first little bit the ato draws out of the resevoir will be the unmixed cloudy white slurry on the bottom. is that ok?

I would not pump that into my tank. When I used to pump from my ATO, I elevated the pump a few inches so the bottom slurry didn’t not get pumped. Now I use a kalk stirrer.
