Kalkwasser Stirrer On Nano Overkill?

I would say many people use water changes to manage Alkalinity and Ca in a nano tank - for a number of reasons - including the costs of the dosing equipment, etc are higher than just doing small water changes. Now - it also depends on what you mean by a 'nano-tank' (i.e.l the volume). To answer your question - I would not dose kale to a nano tank - nor would I use a stirrer - if I did.

I've just either slow dripped, used an ato or dosing pump with my 29 to 38 gallon tanks.

I prefer a dosing pump and mix up a batch kalkwasser in a sealed container. I pull the clear mix after it has settled.

I am currently dosing kalk and doing no water changes on 20 gallon to make things easier I make large batches of 10 gallons of kalk for less work.
