Hello all!

so i'm starting to prepare my tank to accomodate sps so i'll need to start dosing in a way. i opted to dose kalkwasser using the drip method, easy and cheap

so after searching through the web i found calcium hydroxide for really cheap, 7 times cheaper than rowakalk for 1 kg. do you think this would be fine to use in my tank?

Food grade, don’t see an issue.

Would you recommend any brand in the US? Is that Mississippi food-grade calcium hydroxide on Amazon ok? thanks

Any food grade calcium hydroxide or calcium oxide is fine.

My tank has been down for a while. I used Misssissippi Lime Co calcium oxide (from a local club bulk purchase) for years, then when that ran out, I got it from BRS.
