So just been looking up stuff about this and was just wondering why everyone goes so crazy about it?

I know that it raises Ca, Kh and Ph, but I do a weekly water change of 20% - 25%

My current levels are:
(and very rarely stray from those levels)
Ca - 410
Mg - 1400
Kh - 10.5

Tank is currently Zoa dominated with very few LPS and even fewer SPS.

Is there something that my tank is missing out?
Bunch of local people go crazy over this stuff and recommend it to me, just wondering why?

Hopefully there is some kind of Kalkwasser guru out there to shed some light on this topic lol

It sounds to me that you just don't need it yet. Kalkwasser is the next step when your weekly water changes no longer meet the demand of your tank.

A SPS dominated tank will use a whole lot more of Calcium then your tank and a weekly water change wont cut it. At some point, Kalkwasser wont cut it anymore either and people will move on to supplementing Kalk with 2-part or just go full blown 2-part.
