I am joining the dark side of Kalkwasser dosing. Here is my DIY doser:

Well... Been dosing for a while now...
My calcium is stable, but alk had to be corrected several times.
My skimmer is working harder because of the vinegar component, other than that not much of a difference.

Magnesium was also low, so added that. Seems like a two part is a better solution for me.
