Kalkwasser

I have a 13.5 gallon tank. Im thinking about starting to drip kalkwasser. I do water changes every weekend about 4 gallons. Before my water change my alk is at 5 after its a 8. Trying to keep it up higher.

Does anyone use kalkwasser? Do you drip it or use a ato?

What do you use to drip the kalkwasser?

BRS has a diy drip kit that makes life easy. I don’t like putting kalk in a ATO as it’s very hard on the pumps. I use my doser to make my life easy. Just keep a eye on your PH while dosing kalk.

That’s what I started out with before I started using almost 1500ml a day.

I use mine on a doser, its the best way. You can drip it but its hard to control. In the ato its not easy to keep stable alkalinity because evaporation changes.
