Just to be sure we all understand though, if you are not using any calcium chloride or sodium bicarbonate/carbonate, then it is not appropriate to use any Balling Part C with kalkwasser.

Hi Randy, this comment intrigued me, as I was just wondering this exact thing regarding kalkwasser & part C. I understand part C's role in the balling method, but I'm not smart enough to use that info to quickly parse why part C would not be able to be used in some sort of off label way with kalk as part C contains most of the other saltwater elements besides the Alk & Cal that the Kalk provides.
I appreciate any insight you can give.

Balling Part C has a ratio of elements that offsets salinity correction and sodium chloride accumulation effects, rather than any sort consumption. Thus, it has way more sulfate than is ever consumed, and may also have too much potassium, bromide, borate, etc, while not having enough of many trace elements to offset consumption.

Thank you! That sounds like the general concept that was rattling around in my head that might be the case, ..but hearing it factually formulated into a coherent statement with the proper vocabulary is the small step i was missing.. lol..so thank you again!
