Hi
Are ALK and CA test kit like from red sea able to read changes that dosing kalwasser would make ? I heard they can not read ALK added by buffers.

Yes, they will work fine.
The calcium in kalk is just ionic calcium.
The alkalinity in kalk is hydroxide; this isn't measured directly but is quickly converted to carbonate/bicarbonate.

Thanks , just wanted to be sure I didn't end up with very high numbers without even knowing.

The thing with kalk is to dose it slowly. That way you don't get spikes in chemistry.
