I'm thinking about setting up my calcium reactor remotely. I want to situate it and the dosing pump in a closet where my water mixing station is.

Does anyone know the pumping distance limits of the Kamoer FX-STP? I did a quick test with about 25ft of RO tuning on the intake and output and it seemed to be fine. Flow dropped by about 6ml/min but that's easily calibrated for. Any reason this is a bad idea?

Peristaltic pumps can run a long distance and generate a (relatively) decent amount of pressure. I’ve never owned a kamoer pump, but I ran 40+ feet for autowater change with a dos and a masterflex. Both worked just fine.

Thanks for the feedback! Proceeding with remote install.
