Which dosing pump is better. I have the Kasa power strip that I can control each plug separately but which dosing pump is the better option? There is only $17 difference between they two I believe.

Depends on what you are dosing and how precise you need to be. The kamoer allows you to dose a specific amount where the brs is just on and off. I've used the brs pump for kalk on a timer but would not use it for 2 part or similar. I do have an X1 that I use for alk on one tank.

It would be for alk. Using Randy’s 2 part but it’s summer and I travel a lot during the summer for work especially in July (think I will be one for 1 full week). I dose the calcium part once a week as I only use 10pm a week but my Alk drops .3 ppm daily.
Personally I would opt for the X1 for that purpose over the brs because you can set it to dose a specific amount multiple times a day. The brs pump is a workhorse but will not allow the precise control that I think would be best for dosing alk. I also would not trust a Kasa strip to control my dosing. I've used them but had problems where individual outlets would fail so I would not depend on one for critical items. JME

I recently faced the same decision. With the small amount I was needing to dose, I chose the Kamoer. The BRS pump is on/off which is fine if you have a controller. The Kamoer has been great and I just dose 1.5ml at 8am and 8pm.

I'm curious what they gave you for an est. delivery date. I just ordered one a couple of weeks ago. Got a shipment notification that it shipped but ETA is October 4th! I didn't choose "walk slowly to customer's house" as my preferred shipping method lol

Wifi power strips mostly will trip totally on or off, after a power outage is restored
Regardless of the state they are in prior to the outage
That would suck if you had that controlling a doser, and it stuck on tempting out your kalkwasser container into your tank
