Like the title says, I moved houses finally (woot woot time for an upgrade!)

My Kamoer X1 Pro is showing as offline, it doses AllForReef on my 40g. I'm afraid to go through the setup procedure in the manual, it states to hold the reset button for 4 seconds to enter configuration mode. It completely slipped my mind to write down the dosing schedule prior to moving. I fear the resetting button will erase the dosing schedule.

How can I access the dosing schedule or at least connect without erasing its memory?

It should. The program is stored and not controlled by Wi-Fi

On my wifi doser I can connect directly to it without having to assign it a network. Im using a reef Breeders though, not sure if they are all generally the same?

Does the "Reset" button function just as a wifi connection button then? That would make sense because you have to use the app to program dosing. The pump shows as "Offline", so I can't even view it anymore, the app will only allow me to delete the doser from the app.

My Kamoer x1 has not been connected to Wi-Fi for two months and still doses on schedule everyday.
Interesting, doser is giving me a slow blinking blue light (No wifi). If it is infact still dosing then I guess my only worry would be needing to reprime the pump. I doubt it lost much dosing fluid during the 12 mile move though, its such a small tube

That’s correct

Why did your wifi change? Did you not take your old router with you when you moved?

I guess I don't undertand why you didn't just disassemble your old wifi network at the old location, move the equipment to the new location, then power it back up... the only thing you would of had to change was your internet connection, ie connecting to your new cable modem at the new location. all your old wifi settings could have been preserved and moved to your new location.

I wish I knew, supposedly the internet provider didn't support the new town we are in. I'm going to double check with my better half if we did keep the router actually. Great point

Yeah, that doesn't make sense. The internet is the internet. Your new location will have a different internet provider, who will supply you with a new modem, but beyond that, you could just keep all your other equipment as is such as your routers, access points, extenders, etc... no reason to change any of that too.

That would only be the case if you were using a router that was owned by the ISP.... which is something I recommend nobody do, for this very reason.

Sounds odd and probably won't work.

Have you tried to configure your new WiFi modem with the same WiFi name and password as your prior setup? Not sure if may be it will be able to connect then. Worth a try

Never used mine but I don’t think it’s CD a program reset
Suggestion: tips on you tube
