Kamohara Blenny and Striped Blenny Compatability

My clowns are picking on my Kamohara blenny(Meiacanthus kamoharai) in my 30g. Will it be ok in my 55 gal with the Striped Blenny (Meiacanthus grammistes) ?

The stripped blenny is probably a little more aggressive than the Kamohara blenny. Are they about the same size? If the stripped is significantly larger, you are likely to have issues. Especially since you are moving the Kamohara into the stripped blenny's current territory.
Acclimation box is probably your best bet for now. Better than being harassed to death by your killer clowns.

I've had mixed results in mixing Meiacanthus species. Closely related and similarly patterned fish are less likely to be tolerated.

You could try introducing via social acclimation box. But even if things seem well, still be vigilent the first few days after release.

Thanks Yall. Were out of the acclimation box this morning, and surprisingly the 2 blennies are the best of pals. Unfortunately the usually comically grumpy, but good tank mate, royal gramma is not too happy.

Yea, the clowns were getting to be a daily beating. They just started laying eggs, and are on their second clutch.
