Thought it was about time i started my own tank thread. I'll add plenty of build pictures in the coming weeks of my predominantly sps tank. I'll also update the thread with some photos of my fish, corals and stunning acro al clams. The tank has been running for just over 16 months

The tank and equipment

-6x2.5x2.5 custom built with starfire front and side panels, the weir is located in the back left corner.

-Stand and cabinets were built locallyt by aquafab. The stand was built out of 50x50x3mm steel which was galvinised and powder coated white, all cladding was custom with 2 hidded doors on either end.

-The sump is a custom acrylic sump made out of white pvc and acrylic sides. It has a 4x filter sock chamber, skimmer chamber, return section and a fuge/frag section.

- 5x radion gen 2 pro's
- 2x jabeo rw20s and two ecotech mp40wes
- aquamedic oceanrunner 6500 return
- Jns co5 skimmer
- kamoer dosing pump and extension
- 2 media reactors

I currenty have a yellow, purple and desjardini sailfin tang, two clown fish, 5 chromis, two antheias, 2 banana wrasse and a leopard wrasse.

Just found these pictures. The original shows the design of the stand. The hood and lights are all mounted from the top support with no weight on the glass what so ever. The 2nd is fully clad and cycling.

here is my custom sump with a large calcium reactor in the skimmer chamber for size comparison.

Custom made water storage. No brass or copper moulded into it with full virgin food grade plastic. 3000l in total

Bought juveniles to hopefully mitigate this risk. Haha happy to swap them for some awesome sps. The lennardi wrasse were quite cheap

im always curious could you go and collect your own fish and coral for your tank?
