My homemade fish moonshine was going rather well. Then the bubbler got knocked out from the jar one night by accident and the culture crashed.

Re-started it but it did not work this time. Looks like I may have to sterilize all thr equipment and get a new starter culture. It is possible that the AlgaGen phycopure is not viable anymore. I don't know, this was my first attempt at growing phyto.

Kat you also take amazing pictures. I've been trying to get better at taking very blue-light pics like your chalice. Can you explain your photography equipment and your techniques/settings maybe?

It's the camera. I use a Cannon SD Mark II which takes actinic shots without over blowing the blue on "K" setting. I don't have photoshop. I import the images into picassa. I don't alter colors or anything, I have to add light as the images are very dark.
