Was trying to find a cheap powerhead to use to cycle 50lbs of live rock in a garbage can. It's mount is non-magnetic and can be a bit of a pain to mount initially, however once a good seal is made it stayed put and did a great job keeping flow to the rock throughout the cycle. Given the lack of a magnetic backing I am not sure I would trust it to a tank with a sand bottom, but given it's price and solid flow it is perfect for cycling extra rock or for use in a decent sized QT tank. It costs a whopping $15 for 1850gph of flow. I wrote a review expressing concerns about the amount and they responded immediately with concern about the review. I told them I was happy overall with the powerhead itself but the mount design and quality would benefit from improvement. The result was an apology from them an an $8 refund. So I spent a whopping net total of $7 on an 1850gph powerhead that still works great.
