after upgrading to a bigger tank everything went downhill and i really dont know what to do. after the upgrade i had a explosion in bubble algea and cyanobacteria and i cant control it, i have also lost some corals but i didnt know why. I dont enjoy my tank anymore like i used to but i love my clownfish to much to stop with it. so at this moment i really dont know if i have to keep going or put my fish and coral temporary aquarium so i can restart it.

If you remove rock.... scrub the bubble algae off and reduce white lights or turn off all together for 5 days and add 1ml of liquid bacteria during the day per 10 gallons and 1ml of peroxide at night per 10 gallons and it will clear up. Then add a few snails such as cerith, nerite, astrea, nassarius and margarita.

Do you have a picture of your tank and any info? You’ll inevitability get lots of differing advice but a pic will give more true insight as to what you’re dealing with. Many people have been through what you’re going through before.
