So I cycled my tank for six weeks before feeling comfortable with my parameters. I have added a total 8 different corals two torches, one bubble tip, one lone zoa, two gonis, a xenia, a corn clove and a pair of clown fish. I'm receiving one scolly, two more torches, an acan, and another zoa head next week. Am I moving too quick?

I have a red sea nano AIO. I do daily testing and weekly water changes. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I took two years off from the hoppy and just recently got back into the hobby.

Your bubble tip will probably be only surviving animal.
I'm no expert so I just assume:)

How did you start the tank? Dry rock, live from a LFS bin, ocean rock?

Anemones are best left to mature tanks. The other corals might be fine, though IIRC gonis and torches can be pretty fussy.

I'd suggest slowing down a good bit. You might be fine, might not. No harm in waiting awhile to make sure your existing corals are happy before getting more. Plus, you're gonna run out of room sooner or later- remember that you have to allow for grown-out colonies in coral placement, not just frags.

I did live rock from a bin.

I appreciate you taking your time and giving me some advice. Thanks!

Chill for 6 weeks with what you've got. Monitor params and see if you can keep them relatively consistent while achieving growth. Bioload to nutrient balance is something I'm still dialing in over a year later and can be tricky.

If you keep your bubbletip happy, you'll eventually get more, as they will split. Be prepared to remove one or two every 4-5 months or you'll end up with an anemone only tank. I actually did that as I was tired of them stinging everything else in the tank. Plus, it's an excuse to set up another tank!

What would you recommend to do with the splits ? Assuming I get to that point.

If you can get them on your overflow wall...they can sort of just hang out there. I've had a few splits and they're not bothering much (slightly concerning near the pumps, but they seem to be staying clear.)

Sell them.
That's what I do when I get more than 2-3 in the nem tank as the only coral in there is a very large hammer that I do want to keep safe. That many will cover about half of the 40 breeder they're in when they're fully open. Any more, and it starts to get crowded looking. They usually stay right in the middle of the tank and don't move except a little right after a split.

About 18 of the in the pics.
