So my green chromis are doing what chromis do... killing each other. I was able to catch the bullied fish before he was killed, and put him in the sump.
So my question is, how long should I keep him in there? He’s in the refugium section (about 10 gallons), and there’s no worry about getting sucked into any pumps. Should I try to reintroduce him to the DT? Or just let him live there long term?

I literally did the same thing a couple of weeks ago with a Chromis, but did it the opposite way. I actually caught the aggressor and he lived in the sump for a few days until I could find it a new home, which turned out to be my LFS.

I personally would just rehome it and not bother trying to reintroduce it, but that's just my opinion.

Back when I was a kid, my dad would stick me in the time out corner for about an hour. That was pretty effective, I'm confident fish will react the same way.

I agree, I put the aggressor in time out. Only problem is if you put him back in the display and he remains hostile he will be harder to catch the next time.

I also agree put the aggressor in time out but even after an extended time if you reintroduced it to same tank it will more than likely go right back to being aggressive.
