Keeping frozen food in the fridge

Is it safe to unthaw a cube of frozen food and keep the leftovers in the fridge? I’m only feeding 2 fish with that food at the moment, so an entire cube is not needed. Not even half a cube

I thaw out 2-3 days worth in sealed cups. Lets me ensure whatever i add to them is fully mixed in.

Following as I do this. I have 3 tanks and i only have 7 fish but i feed a mixture of pellets, flake and frozen, so I defrost 1 cube and feed what's needed then refrigerate the rest. I use it the next day.
