Hi guys, I have been looking into keeping more than one puffer or mixing puffers and cow /Box fish.
I have a black saddled Toby puffer now whom is very calm and well behaved, I am wondering if anyone has kept more than one or mixed Bix fish with puffers successfully?
I am aware non aggressive fish can become suddenly aggressive with faced with the same species, any advice welcomed.

Hi there
I can't see no reason why you can't have different types but how many depends on the size of your tank As puffers are very messy eaters And Could Put a straight on your system

Hi do you have any experience keeping multiple puffers or mixing box fish and puffers?
I mean I can't see a reason why not myself! But I can't really find anyone who had apart from one example which went very wrong

Hi there
Many years ago I had a porcupine Puffer And a dog face puffer Together with other large fish in 120 gallon fish Only tank I were both pretty placid as for the boxfish providing a similar size and knowing There characteristics I can't see no problem

Well that's good they are both more aggressive than my Toby puffer and in am looking at another from the same genius. Thank you for the advice

I think I saw smewhere where you cant mix puffers of the same species, but you can mix them outside species..ie the porcupine and the dogface
