I've seen countless threads saying that their parameters fluctuated, alk swings, dosed too much cal/mg, increased/decreased lights and now their corals are not doing good and dying.

When we get new frags into the tank the frags are now in a new environment and totally different water/light/ flow parameters but they seem to be doing good with good polyp extension and opening up.

Just wanted to see what your opinions are in keeping your tank stable.

Ime I've had alk swings from 9dkh to 7.5 in a week or phosphates dipped from 0.1 to 0.03 and acans and zoas were not doing well but when adding new frags into the system with different parameters they open up right away.
