this may already been posted, sorry if so but i saw this and wanted to share. i dont look much at reef central but this might be good info to pass on to the fellow reefers!!

Just wanted to let people know that there is a possible issue going around with some recent batches of Kent carbon, I was just at my LFS and he lost about $10,000 worth of corals within a few hours of changing his carbon. He has been using kent for about 7 years with no issue. Several other reefers in my area have had the same thing happen. SPS bleached and losing tissue, LPS even closing up. Kent marine has been made aware and the LFS will be sending off some samples to them. Anyone else experiencing this lately?

Thanks for the heads up. I wonder what would cause this exactly, I am using Kent Carbon at the moment but I will steer clear of it when I need to order more.

Thanks for the heads up!! I have had bad reaction's from deep blue professional carbon though in the past I remove it and in a day or so everyone comes back out.
