Yesterday, I received a bottle of Kent Marine PhytoPlex which had been sitting in a mailbox for 5 hours. The outside temperature was in the high 90’s (Fahrenheit) and the bottle was quite hot to the touch, so I immediately placed the it in the refrigerator, where it has stayed ever since. Is it still safe to use? The contents are still bright green (same color as live phytoplankton) and do not give off a rancid odor (there is a very weak smell similar to that of vegetable-based juice).

Update:
I still have the bottle around and I have dosed a capful of its contents several times with splendid results. My bivalve hitchhiker appears healthy and my copepod population has more than quadrupled ever since I began using the product.
