Kenya tree before and after lights

I'm still new at the coral game, but I am amazed at how much these things inflate and deflate. This is my kenya tree after lights out and under full light.

Oh yeah. Most corals do something of the sort. I love looking in the tank after lights out
 
I find that everything "sleeps" when the lights go out...shrinks, shrivels, deflates till the morning. Everything has to rest and rejuvenate, it's a very interesting process.

Everything except my favia and war coral. That's when the tentacles come out, lol.

Same for the SPS.
 
True, true... there are definitely some things that live for the night [emoji41]
