My Kenya tree has been doing fine since I got my tank water perimeters are good only Change I did was upgrade a light

If the par change was substantial, then I'd say it's normal behavior. If you can move it to a less bright spot it would probably help.

If not, as long as it's not melting away, just let it be and it should acclimate to the new light.

I would agree, it’s probably a change in par that’s stressing it. If there are other corals in the tank then just move it down, but if all your corals seem a bit more closed up then usual then maybe lower the light intensity.
Also, a picture could help incase something else doesn’t look right

My fault I thought I attached the picture, but thank you for the advice I also have the Kenya tree frag a little in the sand I’m not sure if its bugging the coral either

It’s branched out just the polyps are all closed up

it’s hard to measure how much light a coral is getting with the naked eye, however sometimes there is a clear difference.
Would you be able to say it’s getting more light than usual? Also is there other corals that are displaying some stress?

I've had my kenya tree fo this for incredibly minor changes, or at least once.

After a few months of no water changes due to dinos, I dosed a small bit of iodide, and it imidiately closed up for 3 days, extending a little during lights on but no polyps, I think on day 3 or 4 it started opening fully, and a day or 2 after that it made a ton of babies and has been fine since.

Idk why the very small sose of iodine when I was at 0 ticked it off so much, I almost think it was going through a pro ess it couldn't while there was 0 iodine available, and it was catching up on it.

Seriously, I've cone home to it completely knocked over and burried in an inch of sand, and nothing has made it close up like the undersized dose of iodine did.

Most definitely getting more light then usual I turned my lights down to 25% and it’s still on the acclimation mode too, it was doing fine since I got the light it’s just now these last 3 days it’s been looking like this… my zoas are closed up right now due to an apitaisa problem, but I’m going to get that situated today my Xenia on the other hand is doing fine

Most definitely have to get myself a par meter also

Not necessarily, but if possible just try placing it in some shade for the time being. I asked if you had any other coral to see if they were reacting the same way, if so it would be a parameter issue

Will do I’ll put the Kenya tree in some shade just got everything tested too it’s at 1.025 nitrates are low but that’s because I did a water change right before everything seems in line with parameters right now I just have no idea what’s going on with it today it had closed fully but it shows no sign of melting etc yet

Kenya's along with roaches and rats will survive the nuclear holocaust. Just give it some nitrates and don't blast them with powerheads.
