Kenya tree coral always bending and not opening up?

My Kenya tree coral would always bend and not fully opened. It would only open for a day or two per week. At first it was just waxing off a layer of algae when I had diatom. But now the algae is gone in my tank and it is still not fully opened. I've tried placing it in high and low flow area, it is the same.

They will bend a little at times especially at lights outs out or morning. Any other time- either bright lighting, too much or lack of water flow and chemistry. I add iron , iodine and aminos which keeps them happy
