I had a KTC and got rid of it. However, it is clear it spread and is popping up all over my reef. Will it compete with my zoas or other corals?
Thanks

Yes, unfortunately they drop branches that will show up later on. I have had luck with them dying off in ultra low nutrient systems but then you might compromise the health of your other corals. Remove them manually as you see them.

Thanks Tahoe61. Do they will impact my zoas and duncans?

No as long as you intervene when you see the coral encroaching you intervene. Kenya trees add a lot of movement to the tank and I like them very much but real estate availability is often an issue when a hobbyist introduces octocorals to a system.

Thanks a bunch.

Kenya Tree's are fortunately pretty easy to pluck from the rockwork. I had a big colony of it in an old system and it would drop 1-2 dozen branches every few weeks. They won't outcompete zoa's and such especially if you're plucking them as you find them.
