I recently bought a Kenya. And just need to know about a location to put him. High flow or med flow ? He still hasn't opened up as of yet.

Of course this was it's original location. Then I read something about high flow so I moved him to another location. And he closed up even more.

Those don't need high flow or high lighting. If you just got him, he make take a few days to open up completely. You can leave him on the bottom. What kind of light is he currently under?
Do you have your current watera parameters?

I have kept them just about everywhere high flow, low flow, high light, low light and everything in between they grow like weeds.

I have a coralife 48" T5 lunar. And yes.
Kh -dkh-11. 196.9 ppm
Calcium 380
Ph 8.0
Ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite all 0 ppm.

I had him there but moved him. And he closed up even further so I put him back on the bottom inthe original location. Still playing with circulation fans to figure out the best flow.

Yea and they drop babies like crazy I usually just give them away I get so many you will see after awhile but its a nice beginner coral it just takes time it will settle in .

Mines in the corner growing like a weed under low light and moderate flow I have noticed that when I feed my fish a lot of the food passes right by/through it I'm sure that helps a lot
