Depends. Soft corals go through periods where they do look limp like that. It may be preparing to slough off the covering that's on it to rid itself of any debris that it has collected. That's a normal process. Watch it for a while. If it never inflates or you see portions of flesh start to come away then you have a problem. I wouldn't worry right now though.
Okay. I just added it yesterday so don't know if that has anything to do with what you were speaking of. Should I do anything like turn the power heads off? I did turn them off for about 30 mins an the lights and it kind of went limb, so I'm confused. What would the flesh of the coral look like so I'm aware.
it would start to peel and show white spots...it would be obvious. If you just put it in it's adjusting and give it a little time. They tend to like a good flow so no need to turn your powerheads off. It has good color so that's a good sign.
Alright, thank you. It was just weird because I can't understand why it's bending over like it's being forced down. Honestly didn't know corals would just bend down in a certain direction, figured they would just slouch downwards.
Also have this pic of it's foot. Don't know if that's abnormal or not. It's a little blurry because I couldn't get camera exactly where it was in the tank
