i bought a Kenya tree frag about a week ago and it has been doing great so far. But when I looked at it today the top tip of it is turning a shade of blue. Almost looks burnt but I didn't think that was possible with t5 lights. It's about half way up in the tank which is 24 inches deep. All parameters are in check and all my other corals are doing great. Any input or help with this coral would be awesome.

It will be fine. I think those can grow in a tank of gasoline. Something might have aggravated that part?

It's fine. Likely going to drop that top tip. It is a form of asexual reproduction these guys are great at. The change in tanks probably triggered it. They do it when things are great and when things start to change so don't read too much into it. You will notice that tips begins to react as an independent coral as the process continues. So the big tree may close but certain tips will stay open or visa versa like in the photo.

Agreed it is fine.It is either dropping branches or just upset. But you really cannot kill them. And definitely not too much light.

agree with above - it's about to drop off some new children. You'll notice this every time it's about to shed a bud. They spread like wildfire this way. I started with one frag and now have stopped counting at 50. They have covered my bottom area of sand on one side of the tank where the current sends them.
