I got a Kenya tree two days ago and every few hours it just falls over on its side without blooming out or rooting so I keep having to put it upright but every time it falls or I have to touch it, it seems to restart the blooming process the glue won't hold either. Will it just root itself and bloom even if it's laying on its side? There is not much flow right now to help it to not fall down but it still does. So should I just leave it laying on its side or keeping putting it upright?

Need to place where you want it and keep in place with some rock rubble. The more you touch it, the more it will lay over on its side. It will stand up right when you leave it alone.

It's tough to glue a Kenya Tree because of the slime most soft corals produce. If you want it to take hold to the rock quickly, put a non-colored wooden toothpick horizontally through the base. Use a rubber band and attach the tooth pick to a small rock. Once it firmly attaches, you can pull out the tooth pick and remove the rubber band.

I noticed that your new tank crashed last month and many of your creatures perished. Also that you just got some brown button polyps.

What are your tank parameters?

Those polyps and Kenya Trees are just about the easiest corals to grow. To the point that they will overrun your small tank. Have you added them to test the water, or practice with?

I figured out what happened last time and learned from it. On the Kenya note I'm in a college dorm and don't actually have a toothpick or rubberband so would the Kenya be ok if I just leave it on its side?

They are very hardy. Just put a few small rocks around its base and it will attach.

Ok if it still is looking bleak tomorrow I'll go to the store and get the supplies thanks for the help

Go to the sdmin office ask for a rubber band. I'm sure that there is one in their drawer. Get a tooth pick from the dining commons/kitchen.
