Kenya tree looking more pale then usual

Salinity 1.024 Kenya tree seems like it’s doing fine just wondering if this is bleaching or normal
Needs more light. It’s reaching.
8 hrs is fine, but if you can get more PAR intensity it would be very beneficial. I used to keep a Kenya tree. When I had the light low I noticed it would reach. When the light was higher it would get shorter, but more colorful. Mine threw babies like crazy so I ended up getting rid of it, but I enjoyed it for a while. If I were you, I’d get a PAR meter and test your PAR. I’d be shocked if you were over 100 PAR right there. Looks like about 50 PAR judging by the coral. You need at least 100 PAR IMO. 100-150 and it will do much better. I had mine in high PAR (300 or so) with SPS and it did pretty well. Was too much light, but it tolerated it.
For example…this girl has hers in a lot of PAR at the top of the tank (middle). Compare that to yours. It doesn’t need that much light, but you see the growth structure is much different.
Go to about 2:17 mark. She also talks about it later in the video and I believe he focuses in on it more again.
So 19:38 for when she points out her Kenya Tree.

What current lights do you have? Any pics of the tank?
Yeah, adding more would definitely help. A prime could get it done on a smaller tank. Get a good one.

Yes, acclimate slowly. Going from 50 PAR or less to 150-200 PAR is gonna tick everything off of you don’t go slowly.
So…setup a reminder to bump the intensity by 5% weekly. Mount about 10-12”
off the water. Maybe start at 20-30% because that other light is very weak. That other light is probably 20% of the prime at max intensity.
Run a 8 hr photo period minimal with a minimum of 4 hrs at peak intensity. I run a 12 hr period with 6 hrs peak with all SPS.
This will help. This is a proven light schedule/intensity to grow corals. Have a look. There is a schedule/intensity for LPS and soft corals.
