Ive got a kenya ive had for about 4 months and 4 days ago it started staying closed up and this morning it has a brownish slime on its limbs. Is this normal or is there something wrong with him?

You can take a soft toothbrush and get the slime off of it. Put it in high flow and it should perk up for you and then it can slough the slime off naturally.

i had a beautiful kenya tree when i lived in maine, moved to sc 2 months ago and it didnt make it...but it used to close up and it felt hard, but again higher flow always seems to help perk it up......it will drop babies like crazy when its happy.....

Softies will from time to time glaze over and shed. If this is the case, not to worry, they will shd and open soon there after. Its its got brown slime on it I'd say that's a bad thing. Does it appear to be intact as before? Not dissolving away?

Heres an unrelated question but my long tenacle anenome went moving around on me yesterday and I think it stung the top of my flowerpot coral .looks like a few dead tenacles on it. Will it spread to the rest of the pot.id hate to lose him hes massive in size when hes opened up
