Hi Guys,

So its been about 2-3 weeks since I added my coral and some are doing better than others

My Kenya tree which appeared to be fine until today (12/10) which I noticed separation from the base of the coral (see attached) at this point the stalk has separated from the the trunk

Coloration on the rest of the tree appears to be healthy(?) and I looked around in the general forums about this, I have found mentions about branches detaching but not major separation like this

Nitrates 5
Ammonia/Nitrite 0
Alk: 8.2
Phosphates: .72 (working on reducing them)
Salinity: 1.025

Any advise?

The color is worrisome bc I don't see any polyps extended. But my Kenyas are always this color in the morning. Never seen a full detachment but it should be fine. It will stick somewhere and all should be fine

should I then remove the frag plug base?
