Kenya Tree - To Add or Not to Add

I was given a piece of rock with leather corals as well as a small Kenya tree on it. I've already added it to my tank (last night). Do I want the Kenya?

It's my first addition to my reef tank. If I stay on top of it, can I keep the Kenya's under control. I read horror stories on here about how hard it is to control them, but my friend has a full reef tank with Kenya's and everything seems balanced and in proportion. They aren't overwhelming his tank. What do I need to do to make sure I keep the Kenya from taking over?

I'd ask your friend with them how they manage to keep them under control (getting advice right from the tank you want to emulate is best), for all you know they could be hands in the tank pruning them back almost daily (maybe that's not an option for you) or keeping nutrients at a level that isn't your goal. If they have success and you can mirror them go for it.
