Kenya tree

I just did my first ever water change yesterday and my Kenya tree seems a little angry at me everyone else in the tank seems really happy my Duncan zoanthid open brain and mushroom are all looking good. But my tree is shrinking I don’t know why. Can anyone help?

It will be fine. Next time try to match SG, temp and alk and ca. What salt are you using?

Ok good.

The coral may look like that for awhile than inflate again.
If it is your 1st water change a swing parameters probably initiated the response.

Probably I appreciate the help my Duncan I’ve only had for 5 days now and it’s so beautiful.

The fact that you're posting on here to ask a question after your first water change makes you far wiser than I was when I started.
Good question and I totally agree with above post re:matching water parameters for changes. Soon you'll have more Kenya trees than you'll want

Yea I’m a very cautious wanna make sure I’m doing things right because this isn’t a cheap hobby and still trying to make enough money for other things I like to do. So I will work on matching up the parameters and keep posting. Yea I’m prepared for the multiple different trees I’m going to get hopefully down the road I can drag one and sell it. . Thanks you guys again appreciate it.

Kenya trees will also look sick before shedding and coming back quicker. Next to Aiptasia, they are a cockroach, you cannot kill them.
