Hello,

I have a Kenyan Tree Coral that is not growing for me. I was under the impression these guys should spread like fire around the tank. I know these guys are considered weed or pests even but I want this to spread. Would fragging it cause it to grow? I dont think I have noticed any growth in 4 months. It is always perky and looks great. Any tips?

When it wants to be fragged it will frag itself. This is not to say you can't cut it but that won't encourage growth.

The only time I cut mine is when they grow somewhere I don't want them and I can't get the entire piece off for whatever reason. Over the years I've easily produced 1000 frags without cutting.

What is you po4 and nitrate at?

5ppm and 0.1ppm

Yes this is what I have read. I just haven’t seen it frag itself at all yet!
