I have a Biocube29 and I am planning on upgrading to LED lighting. Right now I have the stock PC's. I am debating between the Kessil 150w and the Ecoxotic Panorama Pro. With the Kessil I would probably have to lose the hood, whereas with the panorama pro I could just install into my hood. Just wondering if anyone has experience/preference with either of these. Thanks!

I have the ecoxotic fixture and I love it. I added an extra blue module to mine for a total of six 19 watt strips, three blue and three white/blue mix. I have all sps and they are doing great. I don't think it would be good for deep tank if you want sps on the bottom being that each led is 1.8 watts instead of 3 but they do that to avoid having to fan cool them. If you got the pro fixture it would be more than enough for your biocube even for sps. And the colors are great also the light is spread better than a pendant, such as kessil- no shadows or dark spots. Just my opinion though!

I am using the new panorama pro lights over my 24 nanocube. I like em so far, Great color and corals are doing good.

I use the fully dimmable steves on mine with an added 12" all blue stunner strip and couldn't be more happy

How is the shimmer with the panorama's? I've seen in person the shimmer on the Kessil and it's awesome.

Pretty darn good! In ave heard the kessils have insane shimmer though!

Anyone have any of the aqua illumination products? Considering an AI Nano as well.
