I just put two Kessil 160s on my 40g breeder tank.. I am clueless as to what lighting schedule I should put them on for the acclimation period.. where do I put the brightness and intensity at so that I can control it all with the remote.. and what do you guys suggest for a schedule now and then in 14 days? I know everyone's opinions are different and not all works for everyone.. but if I could get some kind of starting point I think I can handle the rest.. any suggestions will help me out tremendously.. thanks
By the way I have mostly soft corals such as mushrooms, and zoas.. no sps.. and one last thing.. I think lol.. do I leave the input cable plugged into the lights at all times or just during programming..

Mine is 360w but just an idea.
The cable needs to be attached at all times.

Color Intensity
7:20 0 10
10:00 25 25
12:00 40 35
14:00 35 30
17:00 20 15
20:30 0 0

You can program the controller in your lazyboy then re-attach it to the light link :)

I don't running the 160's and I'm not growing softies. So my settings are NA.

I have 160s on my 40b. I started about 50% intensity peak while acclimating and have worked my way up to 90% intensity peak for 7 hours. I also peak out the color at 65% midday for about 3 hours.

My schedule is:
time - Color/Int
11:00 - 0/0
13:00 - 35/90
15:00 - 65/90
18:00 - 65/90
20:00 - 35/90
22:00 - 0/0

My lights are about 8" above the water as well, something to keep in mind when setting your intensity.
