Kessil 160

[Blue Spot Octopus]

So I tried to fix my Kessil 160 again, I was successful before but this time I did not take pictures of it so I cannot figure out how to get it back together, nothing on You Tube,

Does anyone have any pictures of the inside of a Kessil 160 not the other ones, they are different?
Or does someone have a broken one laying around, maybe I can borrow it and pay for shipping to and from so I can take it apart, meaning slide the inside out.

You can find broken ones on Ebay sometimes. Have you looked there?

Good idea, I just checked but I did not find any, I will check Offer Up as well, I figured out how to put most of it back together, I am not sure if I have the fan orniteatipon correct,I can feel the wind blowing out on the bottom though, I will compare that to my 360 X's to make sure.

Thanks I figured it out, so my tip is if you are going to take it apart take lots of pictures.

Tips on taking it apart?

You will need a 0.9 Allen wrench, remove the 3 set screws on top of the unit,
Do not remove the bottom set screws holding the lens.
Pull the two dials and remove the bolt 10 MM, remove the two washers.
Pull the light through the housing.
Take lots of pictures 360 degrees.
Remove the two Phillips screws they are very long,
DO not loose the two black spacers.
Now remove the two other screws, short take pictures again.
Make sure you know exactly how the gasket lays and where. Pictures
Get a brush and a can of air.
Take picture of the fan so you do not put it in upside down.
Clean brush and go backwards to put back together.
Make sure to have good lighting and a container to hold the bits. Do not loose anything.
When you put the set screws back in rotate the inner part of the light with the outer part so you can see the holes align.
