Does anyone know of a comparable adaptor to replace the power supply on a Kessil 160we? Water leaked onto the power supply unknowingly, and it popped when I plugged it back in. Can't seem to find one anywhere in stock and I don't want to let the tank run without a light for too long. Thanks!

Is it not marked on the supply you have now? Should be voltage output and amps

I've been looking at laptop pwr supplies. Wondering if anyone who had this same problem already knew of a model. The D.C. Output varies from 19-24 volts with different amperages, due to changing the intensity. I don't see any changing voltage/amperage outputs on any power supplies, although the D.C. Output might imply that. Also, already emailed Kessil. My RBTA is in the most perfect spot in my tank and I don't want him to move.

The power supply has a max voltage output and max amperage.

It does not change.

UL requires it to be marked on the equipment.

Once you know the voltage and amperage of the supply you can easily buy a replacement

The user manual says that the adaptor has 19VDC 3.42 A - 24VDC 2.1 A Output, the adaptor itself says 19VDC 3.42 A. That's why I was confused.

Called Kessil and they issued a swap for a brand new power supply. They did tell me to not use any other power supply than OEM, although I didn't ask to why.

That's cool.
I'd rather have the factory one.
Some of their info is, um, different.
